Merry Christmas everyone!
Major storm in Marble area last night, continuing with heavy snowfall this morning. Road was plowed yesterday but probably not passable by automobile today due to wind drifting and at least 12 inches of new since last evening. We feel there is also avalanche danger on road due to possibility of avy paths such as Mud Gulch running to road.
Quarry will not be plowing today (Christmas) but says they’ll probably plow tomorrow (Saturday), depending on avalanche danger and conditions of course. Marblecam worked this morning, check it out (menu above).
